Pulin Patel, President and Chief Executive Officer
Pulin Patel is a serial technology entrepreneur, hacker and a visionary, creating value by delivering transformational solutions to the mobile industry. Most recently, Pulin Patel co-founded Mavenir Systems; a growth leader in 4G wireless voice and messaging solutions, and led the company strategy as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Patel also serves as a General Partner of Aether Partners, a Venture Capital and Private Equity firm he co-founded, and invested in companies like Spatial Wireless (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent) and Taral Networks (renamed to Airwide, and acquired by Mavenir Systems).
His entrepreneurship venture started in March 1999, as the President and co-founder of IPmobile, a technology leader in the area of packetizing the wireless networks. Mr. Patel secured venture funding for his company from two of the industry’s leading venture capital firms, Sevin Rosen and North Bridge Venture Partners. IPmobile was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in 2001.  Pulin has in-depth technical and management experience in the field of wireless telecom. Before founding IPmobile, Pulin was with the Wireless Solutions group at Nortel Networks, where he played various management roles in PCS network planning, product management, wireless technology acquisitions and strategic planning. Pulin was one of the pioneering members of the CDMA wireless group at LCC, a wireless telecommunications consulting firm. Pulin's research career at WINLAB (Wireless Information Laboratory) included work in area of enhanced multimedia CDMA systems, and RF engineering.  
Pulin holds a BS and MS in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and Rutgers University, and an MBA from University of Texas.
Alin Jayant, Chief Strategy Officer & New Business Development
With over twenty years of industry experience in business development, international markets, corporate finance and technology planning, Mr. Jayant has been instrumental in creating and delivering several new technology products to market. Mr. Jayant has held several management positions at ADB Networks, Tata Communications, Nortel Networks, Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, and Saraide.
As CEO of ADB Networks Mr. Jayant was responsible for the introduction and development of the broadband services under the Nomad brand to both residential and enterprise customers in African markets.  Prior to ADB, as Senior Vice President Network of Tata Communications, he was responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the Tata Communications network which included the long distance and metro transport network, voice switching and packet data networks and Value Added Services. He introduced several new technologies into the Tata network including WiMax for last mile access and ASTN mesh protection into the transport layer.  As founder and CEO of Taral Networks Mr. Jayant was responsible raising USD 6 Million in institutional financing, creating the core team and initial product development of the patented Service Selection Gateway.
Mr. Jayant has an MBA in Corporate Finance from McGill University and is a graduate of the Indian Institute Of Technology, Kanpur.
Umanath Lanka, VP Engineering & Operations
Umanath heads the Engineering and Operations team and responsible for all aspects of product development and deployment activities. Umanath brings more than 17 years of mobile communications, telecom and IP networking Industry experience targeting products and solutions for mobile carriers, enterprises and networking infrastructure providers. His entrepreneurship venture started with Sogno Systems, which he co-founded delivering solutions in Mobile Networks and enterprise domains. Prior to Sogno, he was head of R&D in Mavenir India leading R&D teams for delivering solutions in IMS and GSM/CDMA networks. He was also a part of the Core Network division in Samsung India Software Operations leading teams to develop network products in VOIP, IMS, UMTS/3G, GSM, CDMA, Soft switch, NGN, SS7 areas. Umanath started his career with C-DOT as Research Engineer developing Access Network Products for ISDN Networks.
Umanath Holds Engineering Degree in Electronic and Communications from Nagarjuna University.
Shubh Agarwal, VP Marketing & Product Management
Shubh Agarwal brings more than 19 years of mobile telecom experience to his role as VP, Marketing and Product Management. Most recently, Shubh Agarwal was the VP of Marketing for Mavenir Systems, where he was responsible for overall marketing strategy, including M&A strategy, corporate marketing, communications, partner management, new product initiatives and marketing activities. Previously, he served as Senior Business Development Manager of Broadband Wireless Applications for Siemens Communications, now Nokia Siemens Networks. Prior to that, Agarwal spent 10 years at Nortel located in four countries, serving customers and developing new market entrance strategies. Leading various customer engagements at Nortel, he defined and introduced new access, core network and packet core solutions for wireless service providers.
Shubh Agarwal was educated at Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering with High Honors and attended Emory University for an Executive MBA.
